Question 1

How is ProjectSathi different from running everything on Excel and WhatsApp?

Accepted Answer

Excel doesn't track who changed what, doesn't roll up across projects, and breaks when the file lands in WhatsApp. ProjectSathi keeps the same workflow your team already knows — field logs, BOQ entries, attendance — and adds one source of truth, audit history, and reports that don't need to be rebuilt every month.

Question 2

Does it work offline at remote sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The mobile app caches site data locally and syncs when you're back online. Attendance, photo uploads, and daily logs all work without signal. Built for sites where 4G isn't a given.

Question 3

Do you handle Indian compliance — PF, ESI, PT, TDS?

Accepted Answer

Payroll on Growth and Enterprise plans handles all statutory deductions and generates compliance reports out of the box. We update slabs and rates as the law changes — you don't have to.

Question 4

How long does onboarding take?

Accepted Answer

Onboarding is sized to your plan: 2 weeks on Starter (one project at a time), 4 weeks on Growth (multi-project rollout), and 6–8 weeks on Enterprise (dedicated team + legacy data migration). It's included in the annual fee — never billed separately.

Question 5

Can my client view project progress without a login?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Generate a read-only client view with the metrics you choose to share. Revoke anytime. No more weekly PDF decks.

Question 6

Who owns the data, and can we get it out if we leave?

Accepted Answer

Your data is yours. You can export projects, BOQs, attendance, billing, and payroll records to Excel or CSV at any time from the app — not just on the way out. If you terminate, we help you export everything within 30 days, and there is no fee for it. Accounting data also exports to Tally and Zoho Books on Growth and Enterprise throughout the contract.

Question 7

What if I outgrow my plan mid-year?

Accepted Answer

Extra projects or users are billed at our published add-on rate (₹50,000/project/year and ₹2,000/user/year, pro-rated). You can also upgrade plans anytime and we credit the difference. Most teams move from Starter to Growth around their 4th active project. A project and a site count as the same unit for plan limits.

Question 8

Does ProjectSathi work for teams outside India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform is multi-currency, with taxes and billing configurable by region — teams in the Gulf, the US, the UK and Australia run it alongside contractors in India. Payroll and statutory deductions are configured per jurisdiction. International pricing is published in USD on the international pricing page.

Question 9

How does the billing work?

Accepted Answer

Every plan is an annual agreement, billed in four equal quarterly invoices. The first invoice is raised when you sign; Q2, Q3, and Q4 invoices are raised 7 days before each quarter begins. You pay against the invoice by NEFT, UPI, or RTGS.

Question 10

Why annual contracts only?

Accepted Answer

ProjectSathi is the system of record for your projects — onboarding takes 2–8 weeks, and the value compounds over months. Annual agreements let us invest in your rollout, dedicate the right people, and skip month-to-month billing overhead. It's also what most teams prefer for capex planning.

Question 11

Can I cancel mid-year?

Accepted Answer

You can give notice anytime; the remainder of the current quarter is honoured and the next quarterly invoice isn't raised. We don't claw back paid quarters. We'll help you export your data within 30 days of termination.

Question 12

Is there a discount for multi-year agreements?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Growth plans get up to 8% off on 2-year commitments. Enterprise plans get up to 15% on 2–3 year agreements. Talk to sales for an exact quote.

Question 13

What if I cross my plan limits mid-year?

Accepted Answer

Extra active projects are billed at ₹50,000/project/year (pro-rated); extra users at ₹2,000/user/year. A project and a site count as the same unit for plan limits. We notify you before the next quarterly invoice — no surprise charges. You can also upgrade your plan and we'll credit the difference.

Question 14

Do you accept purchase orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Most of our Enterprise customers raise a PO against our annual proposal. We invoice quarterly against the PO. Standard payment terms are net-15 from invoice date.

Question 15

What's included in onboarding?

Accepted Answer

Onboarding is included in every plan: 2 weeks for Starter, 4 weeks for Growth, 6–8 weeks for Enterprise. It covers workflow mapping, data migration (Excel, Tally), field-team training, and the first project going live with our team alongside yours.

Question 16

Are GST and statutory taxes included in the price?

Accepted Answer

All prices shown are exclusive of GST. We invoice 18% GST on each quarterly bill; it's separately itemised so your finance team can claim input credit.
